Swing away.

Swing near, swing far.
Take as long as you need because home is always here.

Help me help myself.

I am very aware of what alcoholism can do. I truly believe that before it is an addiction, it is a disease.
A disease that runs rampant and not only ruins the host but everyone close and afar.
I don't condone the victim because it is too sad as it is; they are already so alone.
I embrace the host and the victim because It is one and of the same.

Your mistakes and imperfections have been hard to swallow but here we are.
No one is perfect and no one can say they live as a saint.
I am only happy that you are here.
Truly, I am.

Fishing for love.

Some find love so easily.
Some find it like a diamond in the rough.
Some just fall - hook, line, and sinker.

Father and son.

It's written in the stars.

Fly away

You will have a chance to see something, smell something, feel something great! This is your chance. Go!

Mickey the Great

This is my 7 year old dachshund, Mickey. He owns a beautiful short-haired brown coat. His lovely almond eyes can't be seen here because he's being his stubborn and smart alecky self. Mickey likes to get on his hind legs when he wants something. Here, he wants you to know that he's plenty adorable and probably smarter than you.

Happy to paint.

Happy birthday to you, little girl.

I wanted to be an artist when I grew up. There are so many meanings for artist these days so I will be specific - I wanted to draw and paint for a living.

As an 8 year old, the picture illustrates what I thought I would be doing as a grown-up. I am happy painting in my high heels.
